First, let me remind you that Windows security is very bad in relation to password storage, so it is very easy to recover, crack / hack your own windows administrator password. (remember that you should only crack our own accounts and not other users’ accounts without having the necessary permissions).
The tool we are going to use is called Ophcrack, which is a free Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables. It is a very efficient implementation of rainbow tables done by the inventors of the method. It comes with a Graphical User Interface and runs on multiple platforms.
How to perform the actual password crack / recovery / hack
- Download the Ophcrack Live CD from here.
- Burn and boot the Ophcrack Live CD
- When Ophcrack finishes booting (it take a while, so be patient), you’ll see a list of all of the accounts available in your Windows installation. Click on Launch to initialize the cracking process.
- As Ophcrack starts working, you’ll see several strange letter combinations appearing in the LMpasswd1 and LMpasswd2 fields.
I’m really impressed by the ease and speed that Ophcrack delivers. I managed to crack / hack / recover my Windows admin password in just 30 minutes, even though I used a password generator to generate a “secure” 8 letter alphanumeric password

This post reviews the five most popular free for download themes for Windows 7 available on the internet.
Themes for Windows often requires different types of heavy and resource demanding 3rd party software, e.g. like ThemeXP and others. In this post I have collected the most popular themes that do not require additional 3rd party software, but just works out of the box. Don’t bother on trying them with Vista or XP because they just wont work.

What is Safari? It is a browser. It is a platform. It is an open invitation to innovation. Safari expands the boundaries of the Internet and gives you also a world-class user experience.
It is now possible to download and install Apple’s Safari Web browser on your Windows platform. Note that the client is in beta and therefore probably, but it works flawless on most machines.

Microsoft’s successor to Windows Vista may 9th January 2009 test of all interested. The first public beta version is ready, said the message from Steve Ballmer on Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas in January when he kept his keynote speech.
Download is via Microsoft’s Windows 7 page (link), but Microsoft is expected to put a cap on the number of downloads. If you are a part of the Microsoft Developer Network, you can now download the beta OS.
In contrast to the beta version, which in October were shared out among a handful of other journalists, had the next public beta version include virtually all the features that the final version of Windows 7 given for the final launch.
The steering system is put for sale in October 2009. Preliminary tests have shown that Windows 7 makes lower demands on hardware than its predecessor Windows Vista which gave many an older hardware with many problems. Thus, there will be more computers that can run Windows 7 with an acceptable speed than Windows Vista, which is new. All other launches of new operating systems from Microsoft have put higher demands on power than its predecessor – it’s great to see that the trend is broken.

Even if you have big computer with huge amounts of RAM and CPU power you might not be able to play demanding 3D games if you have an Intel 900 GMA graphics with 192 MB of memory or 950 GMA graphics with 256 MB of memory. Memory is only one thing, there are few more things that your graphic chip or graphic card must have.
Features of a graphics chip and card

* Pixel Shader
* Vertex Shader; either Software Vertex Shaders or Hardware Vertex Shaders
* Hardware Transform And Lighting
* Hardware Rasterizing
The features of the 900 GMA (915 motherboard) and 950 GMA (945 motherboard) graphics chipsets
* 3D Acceralation: Yes
* Video Memory: 192 MB For 900 GMA And 256 MB For 950 GMA
* Pixel Shader: 2.0
* Vertex Shader: 3.0 (It features a Software Vertex Shader)
* Hardware Rasterising: Yes
* Hardware Transform & Lighting: No ( Usually provided by the CPU or 3D Analyze could be used)
So all in all the requiered features are satisfied for the games Of 2006-2008 era, except one where 915 or 945 fails. These games require hardware Vertex Shaders and the 915 Or 945 Chipsets only features Software Vertex Shaders.
List of games support by Intel GMA 900, GMA 950, 915 or 945 GL/GV/GM Based Chipsets and workaround solutions in order to get the games working using Intel GMA 900, GMA 950, 915 or 945 GL/GV/GM hardware.
Most of the solutions requires 3D Analyze, which is a powerful application that allows to play many DirectX based games using video hardware officially unsupported and theoretically unable to run these.

Some solutions require a software based shader. One solution was to use swShader, which was the precursor to TransGaming’s SwiftShader software 3D rasterizer. However it is no longer available from SourceForge, since it moved into a commercial product. Please see http://www.transgaming.com/products/swiftshader/ for additional info.

Windows 7 is the upcoming version of Windows and the successor to Windows Vista. Windows 7 is expected to be released in 2010 and includes reworked user interface, however, Windows XP users can download the Windows 7 desktop theme and enjoy the look and feel of Windows 7 before it’s release.
To some extent the Windows 7 desktop theme looks similar the themes found in Windows Vista. However, there are some enhancement, as you can see from the screenshots below:
How to install the Windows 7 theme in Windows XP
- Download Windows 7 Theme from here
- Install “UXTheme Multi-Patcher 6.0.exe” from “UX Theme Patcher” folder.
- Double click on the “Windows 7 M1 VS.msstyles” in “Theme\Windows 7 M1 VS” folder to install the theme.
- Enjoy the look and feel of Windows 7 in your plain old Windows XP
