Today I found this package with a collection of great looking wallpaper and background images for the Apple iPhone. The images and backgrounds also fit on Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones – and thereby make a Nokia or Sony Ericsson look like an Apple iPhone.
See this post for more info on howto theme or skin a regular Nokia or Sony Ericsson phone to look like an Apple iPhone.

Who can supply merchant accounts for adult websites and online gaming websites? The online adult and gaming business is a hard and difficult business when it comes to accepting and processing credit card payment on websites with adult content. It is almost impossible to find banks and credit card payment gateway willing to accept and handle the payment. This is so mainly due to the fact that many adult websites have significant amounts of chargebacks and other time consuming tasks for the banks and payment service providers to be aware of. This high amount of chargebacks and the difficulties of handling payments for adult websites have forced many payment service providers and credit card processing companies to refuse processing such payments. Furthermore the payment services providers capable of processing credit card payment from adult websites charge extreme rate for their service. This is also the case for many gambling related websites; poker, poker rooms, betting etc.
These two payment service providers offers merchant accounts for adult websites AFAIK
- SCS Processing Solutions – offers adult credit card processing, but charge very high rates
- SoEasyPay – offers credit card processing for adult and gambling websites; poker, betting to relative low rates

There are many factors which affect Website availability and performance from end user perspective, namely ISP Internet connection, server location, server parameters, programming language, application architecture and implementation. One of the critical parameters is a selected Operational System (OS). Most users often need to select between Linux (or an other Unix flavor) and Windows, two popular choices for web servers.
Research from the the monitoring service, mon.itor.us, shows that NetBSD as a clear leader in uptime and that BSD severs and Solaris also in general demonstrate high uptime. The research further showed that Linux was ahead of Windows every week the test was performed by more than 0.5%.
For your understanding 0.5% downtime means 50 minutes per week, or 216 minutes or 3 hours 36 minutes per month. The cost of 1 minute of downtime depends on your business but typically if you are running a business application it could be quite high (e.g. see this blog entry) – up to several thousands and even tens of thousands. One of the reasons for lower uptime for Windows is according to mon.itor.us the reboots needed for Windows after patches, updates and installations.
