Today Nokia announced a sweet Internet Tablet PC – Nokia 770

It looks very sweet and it features connectivity like WLAN 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, and USB.

The software inside the device is based on Linux (a modified version of Debian) and GTK+ for the graphical user interfaces.

Nokia also launched a Nokia 770 / Maemo developer website

Single sign-on solution

Over the years I have seen some tries to make a single sign-on solution, but until now nobody have had the power or openness to make it happend.

Today I saw this project at slashdot OpenID, I really think they can make it happen.

SwitchProxy solved my problem

Today I found a solution to my everyday problem with firefox. Everyday when I connect my notebook to the wireless network at the university I have to switch my proxy settings. Until now I have done this manually in the connection settings menu. These days are over now with the SwitchProxy extension

This sounds like something from a commercial, I know, but it really solved my stupid problem. Now I just need something like a global proxy settings switch for the entire desktop environment.
